CGCC Library has two main e-book sources, Ebook Central (Proquest) and eBook Collection (EBSCO).
One way to search these databases is to go to the Databases A-Z page of the CGCC Library website and scroll down until you get to the E's. Both databases are listed there -- click on the link and follow them through! In order to search, and read an e-book from off-campus, you must have your library barcode and PIN/password handy and ready to put in when prompted!
While these are two different e-book databases, they both contain a variety and depth of e-books about a number of subject of interest to CGCC students. From popular science, to literary criticism, political science, to mechanical engineering and beyond!
The most effective way to use those database is to go directly to the database and search within it for the topic you would like to read about. Both databases have the advanced search option set up quite similarly to other databases with limiters like "publication date", "full-text", "subject heading" etc.
Both databases also have a Browse Collection option by which you can peruse the titles by genre or subject.
